Who can we help?
People who have legally resided in Spain and want to know whether they can apply for Spanish citizenship by residence, as well as those who need a previous application or its documents reviewed.
What does the service include?
Review of residence history and absences, documentation, background records, and any applicable tests or exemptions. Preparation, submission and follow-up are included only if expressly stated in the engagement agreement.
Procedure and application stages
Initial information
Nationality of origin and current nationalities.
Types of authorisation, validity dates and absences from Spain.
Family circumstances and previous applications.
Any requests for additional information or decisions received, without sending sensitive data through the initial form.
What will you receive? An eligibility assessment, a list of outstanding issues and a list of documents. The oath or affirmation, registration and identity documents are subsequent steps whose scope must be agreed separately.

Limitations
Article 22 of the Civil Code sets different residence periods depending on the circumstances. For nationals of origin of Ibero-American countries, it provides for two years of legal, continuous residence immediately before the application. This is a period that must be completed before applying, not a promise that citizenship will be granted.
